Editing
Do you need a developmental or line editor? We’ve got you covered.
Developmental editors help structure a story. They’re looking at pacing, characters, organization, and other issues that you want to get right in order to make the process as smooth as possible. Great for people on the first draft or who are stuck trying to get through their story.
Line editors help with making sure your prose flows. They pay attention to sentence-level issues like rhythm, voice, and clarity. While the two are related, this is not copyediting which is looking for grammar, spelling punctuation issues. Line editing comes earlier in the process than copyediting. It helps your story pop off the page for the reader.
